The new vivo V15 Pro with pop-up selfie camera is arriving on February 20. The company also revealed it will have 48 MP main shooter, part of a triple setup. Today the device leaked in press renders, revealing two of its colors - Gradient Blue and Gradient Red, the second going all the way from Pink to Orange to Sunrise Gold.

There is 3.5 mm audio jack on the other side on top, while on the bottom we see a single grill speaker and a microUSB port, which is a total buzzkill.

If the company is not ready with a global rollout of the service, we could hopefully get Google Assistant at the touch of the button. There is no fingerprint scanner in sight, which means vivo V15 Pro will follow its predecessor in having it under the AMOLED display. The leak does not reveal if these will be the only two colors or vivo is preparing more, but all questions will be answered in five days when the phone goes official.

Vivo V15 Pro is going to be launched in India on February 20. Now ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been spotted in some hands-on images revealing its key design. Vivo V15 Pro is expected to be the successor to the V11 Pro which was launched in India last year.

A Malaysian tech website has shared the images as per which the Vivo V15 Pro front will look a lot same like Vivo NEX phone. It may be recalled that in 2018,  Vivo Nex was the first smartphone from Vivo sporting a pop-up selfie camera. The website, however, has not revealed any specifications of the phone. The phone shown in images is a Topaz Blue version which comes with a blue gradient effect.

The images show that the earpiece is placed between the upper bezel and top edge of the device. The phone will not feature any notch on the front and it will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The V15 Pro will come with a micro USB port instead of USB-C.

The rear of the Vivo V15 Pro shows that it will feature a vertically stacked triple camera setup with a huge bump. It will feature the 32MP pop-up selfie camera on the top right on the upper edge of the device which also features a 3.5mm audio jack. The report further reveals that the phone will take less than a second for the pop-up selfie camera to rise.

Vivo V15 Pro is likely to be priced around Rs 33,000 along with the bank offers and promotional offer. As far as the specifications are concerned,  Vivo V15 Pro will have a 6.39-inch FHD+ sAMOLED Ultra Fullview display and will be powered by Qualcomm SD 675 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory. It will run Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box.

The major highlight of the smartphone will be 32 megapixel pop up front camera. In the rear camera department, it will have a three-camera setup which will comprise of 48 megapixel + 8 Megapixel + 5 megapixel.  It will be powered by a 3700mAh battery which will support fast charging and for security will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.

Vivo V15 Pro has a micro USB port: A deal breaker?

The Vivo V15 Pro is the first smartphone from Vivo India to launch in 2019, which will be unveiled in India on the 20th of February. The Vivo V15 Pro is an exceptional smartphone for multiple reasons. It comes with the in-display fingerprint sensor, a triple primary camera setup, and a popup selfie camera and a unique take on the design.

One of the least interesting features of the Vivo V15 Pro is charging port. Unlike most of the mid-tier smartphones, the Vivo V15 Pro has a micro USB port, which will be used for charging and data syncing, which seems like a bit of a letdown, especially for a smartphone of this caliber. A set of leaked images of the device does re-affirm that the Vivo V15 Pro will have a micro USB port instead of a USB type C port.

The smartphone has a triple camera setup on the back with a 48 MP primary camera sensor, a super wide-angle lens, and a depth sensor to help portrait effect. On the front, the phone will have a pop-up selfie camera with a 32 MP camera sensor with AI capabilities.

The smartphone is expected to come with a beefier 3700 mAh battery. Though the smartphone has a micro USB port, the device is most likely to support fast charging with a proprietary fast charging technology.

The Vivo V15 Pro is expected to run on Android 9 Pie OS with custom FunTouch OS skin on top. Lastly, the base variant of the Vivo V15 Pro is expected to cost around Rs 30,000.
