The Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with model number SM-M405F and it will run on Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung is reportedly working on the fourth device in the Galaxy M-series. The phone is said to be none other than Galaxy M40 and new report hints about its potential hardware specifications.

As per a report by SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with model number SM-M405F and it will run on Android 9.0 Pie, which will be based on the company's latest OneUI. The phone is claimed to feature a 128GB of internal storage and it is highly likely to come with other variants as well.

The phone is also speculated to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display. The phone might also feature a triple camera setup, similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy M30.
Previously, the smartphone has received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) which revealed some of the specs details of the smartphone. The Wi-Fi certification reveals that the Galaxy M40 will support dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz, 5GHz) and LTE capabilities. It will also have all five key Wi-Fi certificates a/b/g/n/ac. The certification site reveals that the M40 will run Android 9 Pie, possibly based on Samsung's own One UI software.
To recall, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M30 in February this year. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 14,990 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 17,990. Samsung Galaxy M30 features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 7904 processor.
