NEW DELHI: HMD Global is all set to launch its latest smartphone in India. The company has scheduled an event in Delhi where it is expected to launch the all new Nokia 6.2. Rumours also suggest that the company might launch its flagship smartphone Nokia 9 Pureview. However, the chances of the launch of Nokia 9 Pureview are really slim. Coming to the Nokia 6.2, the smartphone is considered to be the re-branded version of Nokia X71 which the company launched in China recently. Nokia X71 is the first phone of the company to come with a punch hole display and Nokia 6.2 is also expected to come with the same punch-hole display. Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will be priced around Rs 18,999. Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 6.2 is expected to come with a 48MP main sensor just like the one found in Oppo F11 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. The smartphone camera will be powered by Carl Zeiss optics and is said to be paired with a 120 degree ultra-wide angle lens. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.22-inch punch-hole display which will house the selfie camera. The Nokia 6.2 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and run Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The smartphone is said to offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. The device is said to be backed by a 3,500 mAh battery and offer all the essential connectivity options.
